Being registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario assures you, a high level of competence and professionalism. If you have therapeutic coverage through an extended health plan either personally or through your place of work, the therapists registration should qualify you for a full or partial reimbursement of the fees.

What To Expect At Your First Massage:
Intake: Your Therapist will ask you to complete a thorough health history form to ensure you get the best care possible. She will do an assessment of your conditions and discuss the reasons you are seeking massage therapy. Your Therapist will discuss the different types of massage techniques she feels would benefit you and what the process of getting a massage entails. You will have an opportunity to raise any questions or concerns about the proposed treatment and then you will be instructed on how to proceed to the massage table.
The Massage: After you have undressed and are comfortable on the table the Therapist will start the treatment. She will be focused on your care and wellness and will frequently check in with you during the massage to ensure your comfort . You can raise questions, request any changes to the treatment, and you have the right to stop treatment at any time.
After The Treatment: Your Therapist will end the massage and instruct you on how to get up and off the table. After you get dressed the immediate outcomes of the massage will be discussed. You will also be informed of any possible side effects that may occur and you will be given instructions for self care following the treatment. Once you have discussed continuing massage treatments then your next appointment can be booked.
